If you’re anything like me (aka a student or a blogger), you’ll likely spend a lot of time at your desk. If you’re even more like me, you’ve probably got an unhealthy obsession with stationery. Recently, Maped Helix have very kindly gifted me a bundle of stationery, which has made a great addition to my ever growing collection, and just in time for A Level revision! Great fun …
I’ve been using products from Maped and Helix basically throughout my entire academic career, and I’m loving their new stuff just as much as I have in the past few years. Everyone knows pencils are pretty much an essential, even as someone who does three essay subjects for A Level, I still find myself needing a pencil (& usually not having one). Helix sent me some really cute pencils – I’m loving the green and pink colour scheme.
Perhaps most excitingly, Maped sent me pastel highlighters. I highlight everything – it’s my main, and very ineffective form of revision, but having pretty highlighters to do it with makes the job a hundred times better. What’s great about these highlighters is that they have really wet, fluid ink – they look great over written notes or books, which is perfect as I’m always highlighting in books. The colours are super pretty also.
I’m a big fan of making flashcards to revise, and I like to throw as many coloured pens at them as I possibly can in a wild attempt to remember the information, and I may have just found my new favourites. I personally like a pen with a thin point to it, and I think having both felt and gel pens is perfect for flashcards – luckily, Helix provide the perfect gel pens and Maped have great fine nibbed felt pens so you’re sorted!
The gel pens from Helix come in a really wide array of colours and they’re great for making key words stand out on flashcards. What’s more, is that the felt pens from Maped pretty much match the exact colours of these, so they’re the perfect combination when writing headings! Both sets of pens write very smooth and have a great colour payoff – I’ll definitely be using these in the coming weeks.
These products were sent to me for review by Maped Helix however all views are my own.
