Today’s festive post is one of the ones I’ve been really looking forward to! Not only do I get to ramble on about all the things I want to do this Christmas, which, let’s face it is something I’d like to do forever & ever, but this post is in collaboration with Hannah! She’s such a lovely friend of mine & I’m delighted to be able to do a blog post with her. Make sure you check out her blog here!
MY BUCKET LIST
1. Watch all the cheesy Netflix Christmas movies!
Netflix bring out movies increasing in cheesiness every single year for Christmas, and I want to watch them all. I really enjoy all the OTT festivity in the films, and even though every story in every film is pretty much the same, they’re still ace – so cosy, so festive & you won’t run out of them over the Christmas period! My recommendations would be the princess switch or a Christmas prince. I’ve watched both of those already this year & as cheesy as they are, I really enjoyed them!
2. All the Christmas candles
I have a few festive candles in my room but I want to make sure that over December I’m lighting festive candles all the time! My room will be extra cosy.
3. Actually keep up with school work
I’m awful at this, especially now I’m in sixth form; my approach is ‘if I have a free, I can do it last minute’. And I’ve found out that doesn’t always go well. Some of you will have noticed this post was up late – you can attribute that to history homework! If I want to be successful in this 12 Days of Christmas series, I really need to be keeping up with my school work!
3. Do something festive every week!
Recently, my friends & I have been going out after school more & I would love to do that more often. Going to coffee shops, going out for a Christmassy meal – anything festive & cosy really. It’s always nice to be out & about on an evening because you get to see all the Christmas lights!
4. Go visit Bath Christmas Market again
I’ve seen the Christmas market once already this year in November, but I really want to do a post on it so I’m hoping to go see the Bath market again this month. It’s so pretty & cosy, all the little stalls sell such cute & yummy things, plus, I have secret Santa presents to buy & that definitely calls for a shopping trip!
5. Do some Christmas baking
Every year I always say that I’m going to make mince pies or something else for Christmas & I never get around to doing it. Either way, this year I’m hopefully going to get round to making some gingerbread men!
6. Go ice skating
My local garden centre has a little ice skating rink & while I most definitely cannot ice skate, I would still like to go & try do it. If it all fails (which is very likely), then at least it’ll be good for a laugh. Should be a festive thing to do anyway because there’s reindeers there & I always love garden centres at Christmas.
