Long time no see! It’s been around a month since I posted on my blog, and I’m really sorry you’ve not seen my face around on social media too much either. I started sixth form this month & coupled with working, it hasn’t left me much time to blog, plus I wanted to get to grips with school before I focused on blogging too much again. But, I’m there again now & so excited to be back and blogging! And today, I’m back with a super exciting blog post which is in collaboration with one of my favourite stationery brands, Mustard London! They’ve sent me some bits from their amazing piñata collection to share with you & I’ve been loving them so much, so I thought I’d share both them & many other stationery bits I’ve been loving this month with you guys today!
So, up there on my list this time is a whole bunch of pens! You may have seen in my stationery wishlist 2018 post that I was lusting after the zebra mildliners and zebra sarasas in milk and so I decided to buy them for back to school! So far, I’m loving them!
My only slight disappointment is that the pastel mild liners are more fluorescent than I’d have liked, but there’s no doubt that these pens are making my notes look very pretty!
I’m also absolutely loving these papermate gel pens I featured in my Ryman stationery haul. I use these mostly in my psychology notes because that’s where I use the most colour, and they’re honestly so good! They don’t bleed into the paper nastily, the colours are so pretty (and coordinate really nicely with Stabilo pastel highlighters!!) and they’re so so smooth to write with, which you’ll appreciate if you’re like me and love a good pen.
I’ve been using this gorgeous notebook from Wilko to do my EPQ research in at the moment. It’s a project book with 4 tabs and each tab has the cutest motivational quote on it, and the whole book is just very pretty, which makes me happy to use it! The paper has perforated edges though & isn’t hole-punched which makes it difficult to use in folders, but I’m keeping all my stuff inside the notebook anyway, so it isn’t too much of an issue!
STICKY NOTES & WASHI TAPE
Now onto the gorgeous bits sent to me by Mustard London! They sent me three items from their Piñata collection & it’s safe to say I love them! They’re so cute & happy!
First up is the set of four washi tapes, which are so cute! They’re all in different widths & I love the patterns, they’d be perfect for summer. I love using washi tapes in birthday cards & stuff! They also have a really nice papery feel and they’re easy to rip, but still sticky enough if you know what I mean, because some washi tapes aren’t always very sticky!
Next is the page flags which come in the cutest ever dispenser! First, the designs are adorable and have definitely brightened up my English books which is where I’m using these mostly. They’re plastic, which is great because they don’t get crumpled up in my bag, but they’re also super sticky and you can reuse them! What excited me the most about these though, is that the little holes at the bottom of the packaging means you can clip these into a folder, which is amazing for a Levels! I have these inside my day folder so that they’re always on hand!
Finally, the piñata sticky notes! These sticky notes are so cute, and I love stationery like this! While I wouldn’t say they’re the sort of sticky notes I’d use for revision as they’re a bit busy to see your notes on, I do have them in a pile on my desk and I’m always writing myself notes on them. They’re nicely sticky though too, which is good because I often find some sticky notes are just a bit useless in the stickiness department!
Mustard London very kindly sent me a 20% discount code for you guys to use too! Enter the code sophie20 for 20% off if you spend over £30 before October 6th!
Thanks for reading guys and a big thank you to Mustard London for sending me out some bits to show you guys! I’m very happy to be back blogging, and fingers crossed you’ll see me at least once a week on here from now on!
