I feel like I haven’t posted on here for a while, but it’s just been since before my exams (a little more on them later, although they’re going okay, I never like to think anything has gone too well otherwise I’ll be disappointed!). I recently asked what post you guys wanted to see as this weeks post, and lots of you chose study with me, which I’m super happy about because they’re easy enough for me to write during revision! I’ve decided to share with you just one day of revision, which wasn’t actually very intense as I haven’t been feeling all too well at the moment, but I hope you enjoy it!
MONDAY 28TH MAY 2018
I started off my revision at around about 12pm, as I had a bit of a lazy start (doesn’t sound like me at all, I know). Anyway I started with geography; I actually managed to complete the first topic for my paper 2 exam which was great! In this picture I’m writing out my Lagos case study.
After this, I did some history revision. I’m doing history at A Level and I would really like to do well in the exam (fingers crossed!) but I do find revising all the content quite the struggle!! I managed to get a whole topic done in medicine which I was pleased with, although I’d have liked to have done more, my motivation wasn’t really with me that day (or any day, to be honest!)
After this, I took quite a long break & spent time with my family outside as the weather was quite nice, and just chilled for a bit and had tea. In the evening, I did some Seneca learning for Biology paper 2, but I forgot to get a picture of it. Seneca is really useful for revision though, I especially like to use it for science as it is good active revision and helps information to stick in my head more.
Now onto the part of this post which I’m really excited for!
Recently the lovely company mustard London sent me over one of their laptop cases to review and show you all! I figured I’d include it in this blog post as it fits in with the theme of studying!
As you can see, it really is beautiful! The colourful marble pattern is gorgeous and I love how the zip is silver; I prefer that to gold so much! Also, the inside is lined with a really nice bright blue felt, which helps to prevent your laptop from getting scratched and gives it an extra layer of protection. It’s nice and thick yet doesn’t make your laptop too bulky, and definitely helps protect it whilst letting it remain cute!
It’s a really nice laptop case, and I’ll definitely be using it if I need to take my laptop to sixth form next year!
You can find Mustard London on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook! I would specifically suggest looking at their Instagram – it’s filled with gorgeous pictures of stationary and if you’re a fellow stationery addict like me, you’re bound to love it!
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed the post, and make sure to let me know how your exams are going if you’re doing any at the moment!
