Recently, a photo printing company called Printiki got in touch with me and asked if I wanted to do a review of their photos. I was so excited to get all my photos printed and see what they’d turn out like, and I loved the end result! I really enjoy having photographs around my room to remember all my favourite memories I’ve had with friends and family, and when Printiki offered me thirty of their prints to review I simply couldn’t turn it down!
I was so impressed with how easy to use and efficient Printiki’s website was. I was able to upload any images off my computer onto their website, but even better, I could simply select them from my instagram feed through their website. This was great, because it meant that all my pictures which I upload to instagram (which are usually of my cats or really amazing places I’ve visited and want to remember) were super easy to access and print out, so the pictures that are most special to you can be printed! They delivered my pictures really fast – within a few days of me ordering them they were on my doorstep!
Through no fault of their own (I accidentally uploaded a few pictures that were the wrong size for my selected picture size onto the website), a few of my pictures arrived looking a little odd as they didn’t fit the square very well, however the rest were amazing! The colours were bright and the quality of the images was as good as when you uploaded them to the website. I was really impressed by how professional looking they were and the thickness of the paper.
You have a lot of choices with the look of your pictures on Printiki. I chose to have square pictures with a white border, but you can change the shape of the pictures, the colour of the border and even get some gorgeous polaroid-esque pictures with a border. Printiki also allow you to add text to the pictures and you can even change the finish; there were options of matte and glossy, from which I chose a matte finish as thats what I prefer! Adding text to the pictures would be an amazing way of marking holiday photos.
I’ve not shown you all thirty of the photos I have been sent, but I’ve picked a couple of my favourites from some really vague categories! These first three are of me and my friends in various places (slightly odd category, I know – bear with me!). I have pictures from when we went to Brighton Pride, our school trip to Berlin and our DofE walk, all of which were such fun memories that I’m so happy I have printed pictures of to always remember! I’ll be hanging these up on my wall for sure, so make sure to be following my instagram to see them!
These next two pictures are of my cats – did you really expect me to print thirty pictures and not a single one be of my cats? Didn’t think so. I love having pictures of my cats around my room as they really are my favourite little creatures and seeing them always makes me so happy!
If you’re not following Printiki on instagram, @printiki_com, you really should be as they offer amazing inspiration for all of their products and show you all the things you can get on their website!
I hope you enjoyed this post and will all go check printiki out! I’m super sorry if you don’t see me on here for a while – my GCSEs start on Tuesday (eek!) so they’re my main priority. I will be attempting to put some posts up though in and amongst my exams, and I have another very exciting post coming your way in a couple of weeks!
