EDIT: This post was originally designed to go up on December 18th, hence the Blogmas Day 18 title, however wordpress went wrong with the scheduling as I set it to go up tomorrow however it posted today, which is annoying. Anyway, I won’t be deleting it and re-posting it as I feel that would not make sense but there will be another post tomorrow too as I’m trying to keep up with posting daily throughout December, but forgive me if it’s a touch late or not extremely good in it’s writing as I’ll have been out on a school trip all day and I doubt it’ll be my finest work however I really want to get a post up for you all! Apologies for the miscalculated upload, I suppose it just means more than one post for you guys to read tonight! I hope you enjoy it, anyway. Remember to check out Najida’s blog which is linked below for her wonderful blog post which will actually be coming on the 18th of December unlike mine (I am definitely the worst and possibly least organised blogger!)
Today’s blogmas post is a collab with Najida from Life As Najida. You should all go check out her blog and her photography this winter, which will undoubtedly be better than mine! Incase you hadn’t already guessed from the title and my brief description, todays collab is going to be a showcase of some of my winter photography, which hasn’t been all that good as it’s been freezing outside and my will to take any nice pictures has been severely inhibited by the cold! However, I do have a few pictures I’d like to share with you guys, but if you’re looking for a somewhat better photography post then I thoroughly recommend you check out my autumn photography post.
I’d love to be able to improve my photography over time and I think that these posts are so useful for tracking progress, or lack thereof. I’m really excited to see Najida’s post as she always takes such beautiful photos and I’m sure her post will not disappoint! Anyway, enough of my rambling, let’s get into the post!
I’m afraid to say that this year my snow related photography is severely limited compared to what I had hoped for. I was imagining loads of snow and beautiful arty pictures of it, but instead Wiltshire barely even got a dusting, as you can see from the pictures above!
This means that lots of my photographs have a more indoor theme to them, such as this one of my fire which has been on every day this December because it’s so cold!
Seen as I’m practically incapable of not including my cats in one of these posts, here she is sleeping, which is something she’s been doing lots recently as she’s not a huge fan of this cold weather!
The rest of my pictures are largely of Christmas decorations and other cosy bits and bobs!
I hope you enjoyed this post and taking a look into some of my photography for this past month or so! What picture was your favourite? Make sure you check out Najida’s blog post, her blog is linked at the start of this post!
