I love baking cosy treats during autumn, however sometimes when I’m looking for a healthy yet still yummy treat, I’m left with very little to cook. However, now I’ve found these DELICIOUS little treats, I find myself always baking them! Apple crisps are the perfect autumnal snack, and they’re super cosy when you sprinkle some seasonal spices over them; not to mention, they’re incredibly easy to make. Lets get into it!
Below is the recipe, just save it to your computer or screen shot it so you’ve always got it at hand! I’d also be super grateful if you could pin this to your pinterest too!
After you’ve taken them out of the oven, I’ve found they get more crispier and yummy if you leave them to sit a while, at least an hour. Otherwise, they can be quite soft and too warm! These crisps are such an amazing little snack, and lovely and healthy too – especially if you forfeit the sugar. They’re perfect for chomping on, or you could decorate cakes with them, or place them on top of a fancy hot chocolate, the choices are endless! They’re perfect for autumn though. It takes a few tries to be able to bake these to perfection, as I found out when I burnt mine to within an inch of their life on my second go, but when you do they’re perfect. You don’t have to cut them into round shapes either, if you want them to look a little more rustic, any thin shape will do.
I really hope you’ve enjoyed this super quick and easy recipie! If you try it out, make sure to tweet me a picture as I’d love to see!
